Did Google Also Shut Down The Life Of Linda Ikeji? - Ochu Juachi

When one door closes, thousands they say will surely open. For those who has been following up the trend on the social media of late, you will all agree with me that, the name; Linda Ikeji "Nigerian Queen of Amebo" whose blog is one of the most visited in the Country and generate about 100million naira anually according to Alexa.com has been the talk of the social media. Linda Ikeji is the owner of "lindaikeji.blogspot.com" and was lately accused of copyright infrigement of the work of one faceless person that goes by the name @AyeDee on twitter and was later reported to Google which made some of her write up to be deleted some time last week.
A counter attack statement was released by Linda Ikeji whom according to her, that the faceless @AyeDee is the owner of www.15past8.com and www.9jalife.com with some other web addresses who goes by the name, Emmanuel Efremov from the research she did on him. Barely, 24hours she made a counter statement, google deleted and shut down her blog.
But the most interesting part of it all is that, you may close a door leading to a particular room without knowing that there are other doors that could also connect you to that same room. The only thing the haters of Linda Ikeji forget is that, she's also a smart lady, who knows what she's doing. As a blogger, we all lift, copy, or thief people's work or content at one point in our blogger career life with or without permission but with a reference and at time without a reference if the original owner of the said content is not known to you (the blogger).
But is that the end of Linda Ikeji as a blogger/writer? Nop. For those who think otherwise of this celebrity blogger, let me just clear your doubt that she is still up and running. In doubt??? Just check her up on www.lindaikeji.mobi. Just because she is always smiling to the bank with a green alert every monday or every month, does not give you the impetus to gang up against her making most of you "the haters" to be running up and down just too see her down. Middle finger to you all!
If its not yet your time, and you try by all means to sing "panpangolo", even with "agolo" you will only end up making noise without any notice. I believe that, after one or two weeks, the name @AyeDee would be forgotten and Linda Ikeji will still be up running because one thing you do not even know is that, you are given this lady more platform to attract traffic and gain popularity amidst this scandals while you are still where you are treking home with a sachet of pure water and "guguru" to quench the taste of your daily fustrations. Lol. Abeg, park well make we read better stories joor......lol

“Abubakar Shekau” killed was one Bashir Mohammed - SR

A Nigerian military intelligence source has told SaharaReporters that the top Boko Haram figure killed in a recent operation was one Bashir Mohammed, leader of the Islamist sect’s Uye camp.
Cameroonian authorities yesterday released a photo of a dead man they identified as Abubakar Shekau, the loquacious and attention-seeking leader of the terrorist group that has launched deadly strikes in Nigeria’s northeast zone as well as Cameroon. The Nigerian intelligence source told SaharaReporters that Nigerian soldiers, not Cameroonian troops, had killed Mr. Bashir last Friday in a fierce battle against Boko Haram insurgents in Konduga, Borno State. The late Mr. Bashir, who bore a striking resemblance to Abubakar Shekau and had appeared in a recent video, was killed as he led insurgents who were attempting to capture Konduga and then made a bid to seize Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, as well.

According to Vanguard, Olaniyan, a native of Osun state, claimed the rape victim who hails from Akwa Ibom state was his girlfriend but the girl denied this, claiming that he was a random guy who had asked her out but she refused.

"I have my own boyfriend. He is a guy that used to stop me any time I was going to work. He approached me for friendship and I refused. I did not go to his house as he alleged. On my way back from work Tuesday last week, I saw someone running out of his house. He held my hand saying he wanted to do what was on his mind. I asked him why he would do what was on his mind when I had not even accepted his advances. He insisted and dragged me inside the bush. When I wanted to shout, he brought out a

Pic: Nigerian prostitute, Patoo Abraham, leads protest for sex workers' rights in Lagos

Pictured above is a proud Nigerian prostitute named Patoo Abraham who led a protest for sex workers' rights in Lagos recently. Found the report on Al Jazeera. Read and be amazed...:-)
Patoo Abraham has become famous for fighting for the rights of prostitutes, but what she - and those she is trying to help - do to make a living is illegal and frowned upon by many in the country.
Abraham is not only proud of her profession but is also campaigning to ensure that prostitution is legalised and that sex workers are respected in Africa's most populous country.
The 48-year-old has led a couple of protests in Lagos, Nigeria's commercial capital, demanding the rights of prostitutes in a country where sex vendors suffer physical harm at the hands of their punters.

Pastor Ituah Ighodalo denies saying he has cure for Ebola

Last week, popular Lagos pastor and founder of Trinity House church, Ituah Ighodalo, was credited as saying he has found a solution to the deadly Ebola disease and that Ebola victims should not seek medical attention. Ighodalo has denied saying this, insisting he was misquoted.

Below is a statement he released yesterday
"It has come to our attention a story published by the Punch newspaper written by one Temitayo Famutimi in response to a post on our official Facebook page. The original story was a message of hope and faith reminding us of the ever living words of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and reaffirming our belief that ‘with God all things are possible’ , using the John Lake testimony and written to encourage us never to cease praying no matter what we or the world may be going through."
Nowhere in the said story did Pastor Ighodalo make claims that he had found a solution or that “only God’s anointing and the living words of Jesus” were all that were needed for the Ebola disease or that people should not seek medical help and attention. Continue
In no way did the story suggest for people to act irresponsibly with regards to any medical emergency including the Ebola virus. The headline of the story and its contents were clearly written with sensationalism in mind. In the spirit of good journalism the  reporter  should have made attempts to contact the church to verify his story. This negates the practice of professional journalism, which we would have expected from a leading newspaper such as Punch. We sympathise with those who have lost loved ones to the disease and indeed most other diseases ravaging our world including AIDs, Cancer and Malaria and our prayer is that as the medical world continues to look for a solution to the disease and  that our God will provide succour and encouragement to all the innocent people going through this trauma  and do that, which only He can do”. The statement read

Below is what Ighodalo wrote on his Facebook page.

Lagos Govt warns TB Joshua not to accept Ebola victims in his church

The Lagos state government has warned pastor TB Joshua of Synagogue Church of All Nations not to accept Ebola victims if they come to him for healing.

According to The Nation officials of Lagos State Ministry of Health and the Federal Government, led by the Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Jide Idris, visited him seeking his cooperation in ensuring victims of the deadly virus are not brought to his church for healing. Synagogue is a popular destination for sick people who go there for divine healing.
"We have our strategies that we intend to share with you. Again, we need to know the resources you have here because whether it is one or two cases, if they are allowed to get out, it is a major problem. We are here to work together on how to contain this disease,” Idris told the cleric." Dr Idris reportedly told Joshua.

Chibok girls fingered as suicide bombers

There have been an increase in female suicide attacks and a source who spoke with Vanguard thinks the female suicide bombers may be captured Chibok girls. The unnamed source said he believes that the girls may have been exposed to radicalization by their captors.
The source spoke about the possibility that the girls had been indoctrinated by the terrorists in the last three months of their captivity, hypnotized and sent into various parts of Nigeria and beyond with a view to carrying out deadly missions.
The source, who has contacts with the Boko Haram leadership, pointed out that it may be difficult to change radical orientation of the girls, who may now see their malevolent disposition as an act of righteousness.
"It may shock you to know that some of the girls being used for suicide bombings in parts of the North are among those taken from Chibok in April this year. It was clear from the outset that the girls would not come out the same, after being kept with their unwanted hosts for a long time”.
The Coordinator of the National Information Centre, Mr. Mike Omeri, has since said that the Chibok girls are not among the female bombers. But how do they know this for sure...?

Photos: NDLEA arrest graduate, recovers 2.185kg drugs

Victor Ifeanacho (pictured above) who is a graduate of Business Administration and an indigene of Enugu state was arrested by officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos with 2.185kg of illegal substance, methamphetamine.

The suspect was arrested as he attempted to board an Ethiopian Airlines flight en route to Malaysia.

After he was arrested, Victor who resides in the Badagry area of Lagos, said years of unemployment pushed him into the illegal business of drug trafficking. He said he was promised $3,500 if he was able to smuggle the substance to Malaysia successfully, where he would have been executed if caught
“I am a graduate of Business Administration. I have been jobless since I graduated in 2008. After several years of joblessness, I became a commercial bus driver in Lagos. I am single and live in Badagry. A man I met at a hotel promised to assist me in getting a job in Malaysia. I was happy to travel out of the country. Out of frustration, I agreed to smuggle the drugs, which eventually led to my arrest. They promised to pay me $3,500, but I regret everything now because I feel empty inside.” he said
Reacting to Victor's arrest, Chairman of the NDLEA Ahmadu Giade expressed sadness over his arrest, stating that an educated person like Victor should have known the consequences of the action he was about to take
“It is very disappointing for a university graduate who knows the implication of his action to get involved in drug trafficking. He was taking the drug to Malaysia where he would have been executed if caught with narcotics. I am happy with the arrest,” Giade said.
The NDLEA says further investigations on the case will be carried out

American Missionary Teen admits to Performing Sexual Acts on Young Kenyan Boys & Girls

19-year-old Matthew Durham faces a possible life in prison sentence after confessing to raping several young girls, forcing some boys to perform oral sex on him and even making other children watch.
Durham committed these acts on a mission trip to Kenya. He travelled with a group called Upendo – an organization that assists neglected Kenyan children by providing food, housing, clothes and religion.

He was volunteering at a Kenyan children’s home when he allegedly raped and molested the young children.
On his last visit to the area, he requested to stay at the children’s home rather than at an offsite facility. During that visit, the victims claimed that he often touched them in a sexual manner or told them to touch themselves while he watched.

When he was confronted, he came clean.
United States Attorney Sanford Coats says, “A caretaker at the orphanage noticed something wasn’t right and confronted Mr. Durham. He admitted to some of the acts.

The victims are believed to be both boys and girls between the ages of four and nine, at least one of whom is HIV positive.”

Although the crimes were overseas, prosecutors says Durham will be accountable for the acts in Oklahoma. He is currently being held without bond.

Photos: 'British tourist' caught having sex in broad daylight between parked cars

The British like to have fun in weird ways! :-). Weeks after a British girl was filmed performing a sex act on 24 men in a night club in Magaluf, a major holiday resort on Majorca, Spain, another British couple have been filmed being really naughty.

A shocking new video filmed on a street in Magaluf has emerged showing 'British tourist' having sex in broad daylight between two parked cars. They were captured on film for two minutes by someone recording them through a window. (Above are screenshots from the video)

The shocking footage, which was shared on Youtube (its since been removed), shows the couple, suspected to be in their 30s, unfazed as cars passed them. And when they finished, the man kneels on the ground as the woman slowly gets to her feet and re-arranges her mini-skirt before he passes her a tissue. They couldn't get a room? Or it's something they needed to cross off on their bucket list? Lol.

Video of Boko Haram Members Decapitating Nigerian Air Force Officer Surfaces

Sahara Reporters today shared a disturbing video which showed a Nigerian Air officer identified as Umar Abubakar being interrogated and later gruesomely murdered by Boko Haram men in Borno state. The sect men then paraded with his head in a jubilant display.

In the video clip, the insurgents asked their victim to state his monthly pay to which he replied N40,000. He also disclosed that his commanding officer was a 2nd lieutenant. Beyonce and Jay Z headed for divorce?

This is probably BS but it's interesting to read. Insiders are claiming Jay Z and Beyonce's marriage is all but over and the only thing keeping them together is their tour. Don't believe it but read below..

From Page Six
Beyoncé and Jay Z have more than 99 problems and only “divine intervention” can save the troubled marriage, a source close to the powerful couple has told The Post.
While Jay Z seemingly is the one most at fault, he’s also the one doing all in his power to keep the couple together, even hiring marriage counselors who are believed to be traveling with the super duo on their tour, the source said.
“They are trying to figure out a way to split without divorcing . . . This is a huge concert tour and they’ve already gotten most of the money from the promoters up front,” the source said. Continue..
Despite the tens of millions the couple will pocket from the current tour, this will certainly be their last and the end of the tour could officially spell the end of the marriage, the source said.
“There are no rings, if you haven’t noticed,” the source said, admitting that he thought things would get better after the birth of the couple’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
“For just a split moment, things got real for them and she was even talking about adding to the family,” the source said.
“But, after a while, Jay was out doing Jay and Bey was out doing Bey. They made the classic mistake of thinking a child would change everything and help to rekindle the initial fire, and it didn’t.”

Replying Mr Ibu would be trading intelligence with ignorance - Ibinabo Fiberesima

AGN president Ibinabo Fiberesima has finally reacted to actor John Okafor aka Mr Ibu's recent interview where he questioned what she did with money President Jonathan released to the guild (see here). Speaking with Punch, Fiberesima berated the comic actor, stating that replying him would only amount to trading intelligence with ignorance. She also said he's not even a member of the Guild..
"Which money is he talking about? That is why I said he is detached from the realities on ground. When we went to visit the President, there was no money promised to anybody. We didn’t go there to beg for money as Mr. Ibu is used to doing; we didn’t do that. They push you to the extent that you say things that you don’t want to. I’m not about money, for once they should stop and think, see what my team and I have achieved in two years. Replying Mr. Ibu would be trading intelligence with ignorance and I don’t think I have that time. I’m sure you have followed everything we have done and we have not hidden anything. Rather, we have been open about everything we have done, so if he attacks me the way he did, it clearly shows that he is completely detached from the reality, because he complained about things that we have achieved long ago, which shows that he is not part of the Guild,” she said. Continue...
She also queried him for not mentioning the names of those in the guild he  said were not happy with her
"Mr. Ibu cannot vote for me, he does not have the power to do that. He cannot even run for office because he is not a member, and I was expecting to see the names of the members whom he referred to because I don’t know them, and I hope they are members of the Guild because we have actors who are not members. You should not because of your interest in a name feel you can come out and talk off point to become relevant. When people say people should have education, it is for this kind of reason so they will know how to speak in public. They think running to the press and running me down on Facebook and others will deter me. No. I was not brought up like that, I’m a very thorough breed. I will do what I have to do to get to where I am going. It is the love that I get from people whose lives I have touched that keeps me going, not those who don’t know where they are going, because every sentence they make is money, where is the money?” she stated

The late pastor's wife and three children are feared to have been taken by the sect men who reportedly abducted some people on the day of the attack.

A resident of the village, Jacob Mamza, gave an account of how the pastor was killed to Vanguard;
"The pastor was in his house at about 6am when the insurgents attacked the village. His house was surrounded by the hoodlums and while attempting to run he was shot. Photos: How I managed to stand against 'Jungle justice' - LIB reader writes

This happened around Idimu-Egbeda, Lagos. I was on my way back home this morning when I saw a pack of okada men dragging some people out of a car in front of me, two men and a woman. I was in my car watching, thinking they must have actually bashed an okada man, as it was the norm in Lagos state, where an offense against a bike man is an offense against all the bike men in like 5 communities, they would pack you down and start harassing you.
So I thought at first, until they started beating them with woods and sticks, kicking them from all directions, while some where destroying their car. I had to come down at this point after carefully packing my car at a safe spot. I managed to part the crowd, asking what happened, The shout of 'they are kidnappers' rented the air, so I managed to go into the crowd which was swelling by the minute to take pix of them.

The police, women affairs ministry and wife of the state governor Mercy Odochi Orji have been informed about the rescue operation.
A lot of the pregnant ladies who complained that they had not been fed in two days, blame the condition on poverty and lack of parental care.

The men identified as Jonathan Nwogu and Chibuike Anubuife were arrested when trying to bury the corpse in an abandoned pit in Osisioma, near Aba. They were nabbed at a filling station near Ariaria International, Aba.
NSCDC’s state commandant Andy Dateer paraded the men before the press, and said it was a very sad day for the command.
He briefly detailed how the men were caught. Andy says his men on a routine patrol caught the men in possession of a corpse of a girl of about 2 years old in a sack. The officers were attracted to the scene following a quarrel between the men and a man who brought them to the scene in a car.
Andy revealed that the men will be handed over to the Police for proper investigation, and that an angry mob would have lynched the men if not of the officers who came to the scene.
One of the suspects Chibuile Anubuife revealed that he saw the other man (who brought him with the car) for the first time and he asked him to bury the dead girl, and while discussing the logistics, they were arrested them.
The other suspect Jonathan Nwogu told reporters that a man approached him to help bury the girl.
